So Alan Keyes backs much of what he is totally opposed to and that which seeks to strip him of his rights, so yes he is a hypocrite. What he did to his daughter is also not a fatherly thing to do in my own eyes. Ashe does not accept his daughters� sexual preferences and has supposedly �disowned her�. Basically he has banned her from the family from what I read. I quit reading her journal for some time now and will again soon and hope to see that she is doing well. Having voiced her feelings in her journal that was in no way a strike against her father whom she loves dearly but this was taken and written against her as if she did just that. I am firmly opposed to how those with journals privacy are not respected. Yes I do write online as well but do to gossip and exploit others as well as show a lack of respect for ones site is disgusting to this individual.

Alan Keyes did not exploit this private family problem he has as of yet to my knowledge this, nor would he. He did however make to my limited knowledge of his judgments act poorly in regard to his family. It goes back to my philosophy of which I have quoted Gandhi as stating best:

�This is in essence the principle of nonviolent non-cooperation. It follows therefore that it must have its root in love. Its object should not be to punish the opponent or to inflict injury upon him. Even whilen on-cooperating with him, we must make him feel that in us he has a friend and we should try to reach his heart by rendering him humanitarian service whenever possible.�

This goes forth in so many situations especially when reading journals. If one does not like or agree with someone who is expressing themselves in an online journal please show them the courteous respect they deserve as this a place of intimacy with ones self. It is fine to always disagree, but do so with respect, honor, empathy and love. I was not pleased to such writers as Leslie Irene leave after getting continuous negative feedback and the same has happened to others. Though the problems on this website have probably contributed to these writers leaving as the sites owner is an irresponsible fool and pathological liar (Andrew) whom does nothing about this or anything else.

I would have added the song �Your Daughter is one� from the Times Square soundtrack but the link is dead. The autobiographical rant to her father the politician, "Spick, nigger, faggot, bum/Your daughter is one!" seems just rights for this entry, but I will settle for Peaches who points out my view on sexuality that it isn�t about the sexuality as it is the person.
