"Men give me credit for some genius. All the genius I have lies in this; when I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort that I have made is what people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought."

"In oneself lies the whole world and if you know how to look and learn, the door is there and the key is in your hand. Nobody on earth can give you either the key or the door to open, except yourself."

Yeah JK you are correct in more ways than one. I enjoy reading books on or by Jiddu Krishnamurti. In the next year or so i plan on going to visit his schools in California and England. That is if i ever finish this project of helping my family in friends in New Orleans though my spirits on it have lowered recently. i do plan on within 6 months completing major renovation here somehow. after that i will secure the money to paint the place and do whatever else needs to be done, such as perhaps a front driveway as there was in the 19th century. This place though needs 18 hour days from me for now. At some point i plan on taking a break and going to England for several reasons. one being to see Gia, second to see family, third doing some historical research, fourth and actually almost as important as important as #1 is to visit Brockwood.

I may actually get a group of friends to go together with me but with the flakes I know that probably will not happen. I don't know anyone with any guts to follow and stay true. I stand by that statement strongly.

There is a deadline on what i have to do here this month and next and with all the work needed to be done it is nearly impossible that i will get some or any of it completed. This would be the case before hurricane Katrina in the big easy N'awlins but the post-Katrina New Orleans is actually far worse with no worker class available to do anything. Plumbers, electricians, roofers, carpenters, etc are all backed up for months and do not have much manpower to do any job, nor the resources having had there inventory wiped out in the flood and/or by damages caused from hurricane winds. That along withe take the long way and get nothing accomplished approach culture that I have to contantly battle everyday.

I need to write in my other journal as there are something legally I can't talk about here.

Hmmm...

Finally I will pose a question:
What should be done about the city of New Orleans? I have an understanding of my feelings on the matter. Do you?
