"Men give me credit for some genius. All the genius I have lies in this; when I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort that I have made is what people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought."

28 December, 2004 - "Happy Holidays"

"If bullets cost $5000, I can guarantee you that there would be no more 'innocent by-standers'. If bullets cost $5000 and someone got shot they must have really deserved it. 'I would kill you, but I can't afford it. You better hope that I can't find some bullets on lay-away!'"
--Chris Rock

I love Chris Rock, as he always strikes my funnybones in the right way. But joking aside no one better mess with the Bill of Rights. I am a strong advocate of the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution. Unlike fake Republicans and Democrats, I am proudly defend the entire Bill of Rights, not just parts for current political reasoning.

That said, why I am writing about this?
Well I have continually written about how sick we are as a society. As well as how everyone is ignorant to what is going and till people understand the problems, proper action can't be taken.
Why do people shoot people for no reason whatsoever in the head? I know that I am sick of people being murdered in cold blood that are my friends. On new years people around here seem to think its war time and start firing guns everywhere in the city.

Guns do not kill people, people do and must take responsibility. If humans did not have guns they would hack and hurt people in any way possible to spread their madness.

Last night outside my parents home, I heard a dozen gunshots go off. I was relaxing about to dose off when I heard the dogs barking, followed by BANG! BANG! BANG!

Well the police we called and at the edge of the driveway were a dozen-.40 caliber shells. Have no idea what they were shooting at or whom did it, but my point is that it was pointless careless madness.

My philosophy with operating a firearm is that never fire a bullet unless you risk someone being killed. Afterall, guns are made for killing, nothing else. With 12 rounds, that could mean 12 or more deaths. So who ever fired those shots last night did so willing to kill 12 or more people in the worst case scenario. Which of course if that happened would mean the death penalty easily.

I had a friend Michael Pierre whom was killed inside his home when a stray bullet struck him. This was done by an ignorant jackass pissed off firing away regardless of the consequences.

Lastly on the problems of guns is that anyone can buy them off the streets. The real problem is people, but we won't hear from politicians whom only want to reign in the rights of the people. So yes this is a people problem, a human problem, not a nigger problem, or any other way it maybe construed. Till people abide by the rule of 'Love they Neighbor' to a higher degree than we are now, society will continue to decay.

Here is a rendition of the beloved Christmas classic 'Silver Bells' massacred by yours truly to spread some realistic holiday cheer!

Glass is breakin as I'm wakin
Someones robbing my neighbor next door
Everyday, like whores we numb ourselves to foul play.
Someone's crying, someone's screaming, shouting profanities
And someones peed in my wheaties, as I eat them anyway
I hear...
The Sirens Call (Sirens Call)
911 Calls (911 Calls)
It's Christmas time in the New Orleans
Sirens sing (Sirens sing)
Hear them ring (Hear them ring)
Bling Bling Bling
Soon it will be New Years Day!

Nawlins side walks, broken sidewalks
Dressed in bloodstains and grease
In the air there's a smell of something foul
Cars are honking people cursing
Arguin and pissin in the streets
And on every street corner you hear
The Sirens Call (Sirens Call)
911 Calls (911 Calls)
It's Christmas time in the New Orleans
Sirens sing (Sirens sing)
Hear them ring (Hear them ring)
Bling Bling Bling
This is the city that care forgot

To hell with your prayers, embrace despair
As the crime rates rise, the innocent die
And the pigs are smoking crack anyway
Politicians are laughin gangstas cappin
As their rival do drive bys
Through the streets of the New Orleans you hear...
I hear...
The Sirens Call (Sirens Call)
911 Calls (911 Calls)
It's Christmas time in the New Orleans
Sirens sing (Sirens sing)
Hear them ring (Hear them ring)
Bling Bling Bling
Soon it will be New Years Day!

"A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government."
--George Washington

"Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms, as the blackest."
--Mohandas K. Gandhi

"The most important element of a free society, where individual rights are held in the highest esteem, is the rejection of the initiation of violence. All initiation of force is a violation of someone else's rights, whether initiated by an individual or the state, for the benefit of an individual or group of individuals, even if it's supposed to be for the benefit of another individual or group of individuals. Legitimate use of violence can only be that which is required in self-defense."
--Congressman Ron Paul, (Libertarian) Texas

"Nonviolence is the answer to the crucial political and moral questions of our time; the need for mankind to overcome oppression and violence without resorting to oppression and violence. Mankind must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love."
--Martin Luther King Jr.

"Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent."
--Issac Asimov

"Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages."
--Thomas A. Edison

"Savage peoples are ruled by passion, civilized peoples by the mind. The difference lies not in the respective natures of savagery and civilization, but in their attendant circumstances, institutions, and so forth. The difference, therefore, does not operate in every sense, but it does in most of them. Even the most civilized peoples, in short, can be fired with passionate hatred for each other."
--Carl von Clausewitz

"Civilization is the progress toward a society of privacy. The savage's whole existence is public, ruled by the laws of his tribe. Civilization is the process of setting man free from men."--Ayn Rand

"The main goal of the future is to stop violence. The world is addicted to it."
--Bill Cosby

"The police can't stop an intruder, mugger, or stalker from hurting you. They can pursue him only after he has hurt or killed you. Protecting yourself from harm is your responsibility, and you are far less likely to be hurt in a neighborhood of gun-owners than in one of disarmed citizens even if you don't own a gun yourself."
--Harry Browne

"To prohibit a citizen from wearing or carrying a war arm . . . is an unwarranted restriction upon the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of constitutional privilege."
--Wilson v. State, 33 Ark. 557

"That the said Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of The United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms."
--Samuel Adams

"If you and I are having a single thought of violence or hatred against anyone in the world at this moment, we are contributing to the wounding of the world..."
--Deepak Chopra

"Revenge... is like a rolling stone, which, when a man hath forced up a hill, will return upon him with a greater violence, and break those bones whose sinews gave it motion."
--Albert Schweitzer

"Nonviolence means avoiding not only external physical violence but also internal violence of spirit. You not only refuse to shoot a man, but you refuse to hate him."
--Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Deeds of violence in our society are performed largely by those trying to establish their self-esteem, to defend their self-image, and to demonstrate that they, too, are significant."
--Rollo May

"The right of a citizen to bear arms, in lawful defense of himself or the State, is absolute. He does not derive it from the State government. It is one of the "high powers" delegated directly to the citizen, and is excepted out of the general powers of government.' A law cannot be passed to infringe upon or impair it, because it is above the law, and independent of the lawmaking power."
--Cockrum v. State, 24

"An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life."
--Robert A. Heinlein

"The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
--Thomas Jefferson

"A sword never kills anybody; it is a tool in the killer's hand."
--Lucius Annaeus Seneca, c. 4BC - 65AD

"After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn't do it. I sure as hell wouldn't want to live in a society where the only people allowed guns are the police and the military."
--William Burroughs

"Gun bans don't disarm criminals, gun bans attract them."
--Vice President Walter Mondale

"Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another, but let him work diligently and build one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built."
--Abraham Lincoln

"The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."
--Alexander Hamilton
