"Men give me credit for some genius. All the genius I have lies in this; when I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort that I have made is what people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought."

"Look at this window: it is nothing but a hole in the wall, but because of it the whole room is full of light. So when the faculties are empty, the heart is full of light."

I moved not just myself but my parents as well. In the end I gave the majority of my furniture. It was an exhausting and I am quite sore, as I did more than I was physically capable of yet again. The entire experience over the past six months since Katrina devastated the area has been one that would try the patience of even the Siddhartha Gautama. Despite all this I am doing well, as why would I bring about the conflict of choice into the matter is beyond me now.

My computer was hit by a major energy spike and it was destroyed. It is going to cost nearly a thousand dollars to retrieve my documents. The back-up discs I had were destroyed due to Hurricane Katrina and a wreck I was injured in recently. So I am computerless now for the first time in years.

As always I am tired and sore both in my mind and my body. So what can I do? went and saw 'Brokeback Mountain'. It's an excellent film which I give my highest possible rating. The problem with such a film is the same as the film 'The Woodsman'. Viewers of such will not understand it as many who giggled and laughed throughout it did as when I was in the theatre. Love is a force and it can have violent repercussions in ones life. I know this and have lived through as well as rode the wave of conditional and unconditional love. It is far too much for me to write here for any reader of this journal to explain unless I have a sincere one on one dialogue to do so. Finally it all comes down to this: when you give it all up, you get it all.

"What you can't change, you've just got to ride out."
~Ennis Del Mar in Brokeback Mountain
